MFOA's response to recent developments related to COVID-19.

Ensuring the safety of our staff, Board Members, Association Members and speakers is the foremost priority of our leadership team. This priority is guiding our decision making process as respond to the COVID-19.

MFOA will be rescheduling all training events that were to be held prior to May 1, 2020. This includes all webinars, live streaming and in-person training. Each week we will determine if we need to extend that date and will provide updated communication by the end of day on Mondays. If you booked a hotel room, please contact the hotel directly to cancel your reservation. MFOA will not be responsible for any costs associated with accommodation.

MFOA has every intention to reschedule these events at a later date, and can easily transfer your registration fees to the new dates as soon as they are available. Please stay tuned for further information on rescheduling which will be communicated to all as soon as it is available. MFOA’s standard refund policies will apply. CPD Credits: Training sessions are eligible for continuing professional development credits. Certificates to verify the number of hours attended are available upon request. Email for certificate requests. 

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Training: Full refunds up to seven business days before the start date of the training, less $50+HST administration fee for courses and workshops, and less $20+HST administration for webinars and live stream, no refunds after that day. Registrant substitutions are allowed at any time.

Refund and Cancellation Policy for e-Learning Courses:
- Prior Access to the Course: Full refund, less $50+HST administration fee, can be provided if cancellation is made by email prior to accessing the e-Learning course. Cancellations must be requested by emailing . Learners will have unlimited access to the course for up to 30 days. Learner substitutions/transfers are allowed prior to accessing the e-Learning course (no admin fee). 
- Post Access to the Course: 50% of the course fee, less $50+HST administration fee, can only be provided to learners who have completed less than 50% of the course. No refunds will be provided if 51% or more of the course has been completed. 

Refund and Cancellation Policy for Training Packages:
This training package is intended for the individual that is registering. Unfortunately, we cannot provide any refunds or registrant substitution at any point. Recordings of any missed sessions will be available to the registrant shortly after the scheduled date.
