The Municipal Finance Officers' Association of Ontario (MFOA) welcomes you to join us for 2026 Annual Conference Trade Show being held on September 23 and 24 at Blue Mountain Resort. Our conference theme this year is Big Plans. Bold Decisions. Better Outcomes.

The MFOA Annual Conference and Exhibitor Showcase provides an opportunity for organizations to introduce their products and services, build their brand, and network with conference attendees from municipal governments across Ontario. Early bird rate (until May 15): $1,900
Regular rate (after May 15): $2,200
 
Additional Options:
  • Wednesday Morning Breakfast Ticket: $50 + HST per person
    • 8:00 AM - 9:00 AM. Limited availability; must be purchased in advance
  • Thursday Evening Cocktail Reception and Gala Dinner: $200 + HST per person
    • 6:15 - 10:15 PM. Limited availability; must be purchased in advance. 
  • Additional Staff Badge: $250 + HST per person. Includes the following:
    • Wednesday: Lunch, refreshment breaks x2, and opening night working reception 
    • Thursday: Breakfast, lunch and refreshment break x1

To avoid penalty, booths must be fully set-up by the scheduled start time and may not be dismantled before the scheduled move-out time. 


 

Booth Furnishings and Advanced Shipping

Stronco Show Service is our official service contractor for the Annual Conference. They provide booth furnishings and advanced shipping services.

Your exhibitor package includes one 10 AMP electrical outlet. If you require additional audio-visual or electrical equipment, orders can be made through Blue Mountain Resort.

Promotional Materials

Included with your exhibitor package is the option to submit up to three (3) digital marketing/promotional items. These materials will be featured on the conference website under your company listing.
 
This feature allows you to share additional information with MFOA conference delegates, such as a product/service highlights, special offers, videos, or informational resources. 

How to Participate:

  • Submit your materials by email to training@mfoa.on.ca
  • Deadline: Friday, August 21
  • Maximum of three (3) items per exhibitor
  • Accepted file types: PDF and/or MP4
  • No direct hyperlinks (links may be included within a PDF if needed)

Examples of content you can include:
  • Voucher for a free sample or product
  • Information videos
  • Coupon or discount code (exclusive to MFOA delegates)
  • Advertisement or flyer
  • How-to guides or information documents
  • Company brochure
  • Tools, templates or resources
  • Other relevant promotional materials

Hotel Accommodations

Blue Mountain Resort has secured a room block for MFOA exhibitors. Rooms are available on a first-come, first-served basis and availability is not guaranteed.
The room block will be held until Monday, August 31 or until it is fully booked, whichever comes first.

Fraud Alert: 
Please be aware that in past years, unauthorized third-party organizations have contacted individuals regarding the MFOA conference. These companies may offer to assist with hotel bookings at discounted rates, or claim to provide promotional materials such as delegate lists.

MFOA is not affiliated with any of these organizations. Please do not provide personal or payment information to unsolicited third parties.

  • MFOA has arranged room blocks directly with the hotel listed above
  • Hotel bookings should only be made using the instructions provided
  • MFOA does not sell delegate lists
  • A delegate list will be provided on the first day of the conference; this is included with your registration and is not an additional cost


 
Prize Draws

As part of the trade show, exhibitors have the option to contribute prize items for a delegate giveaway, helping to drive engagement and traffic to your booth.

Included with your exhibitor package is the option to participate in our delegate prize draw. 

  • Maximum of two (2) prize donations per booth
  • Participating exhibitors are responsible for collecting business cards from participating delegates throughout trade show hours
  • An MFOA staff member will visit each participating booth to conduct the draw and announce winners
  • Draws will take place during scheduled breaks on Thursday, September 24 (morning break and lunch)
  • Exact draw times will be confirmed in advance and reconfirmed with booth staff on-site
  • Please ensure a booth representative is present at your assigned draw time 

How to Participate
Please confirm your participation and prize(s) by emailing training@mfoa.on.ca no later than Friday, August 21. We are unable to accommodate any changes after this date. 


 
Health and Safety

Health and safety related practices at the MFOA Conference will be informed by provincial and local public health guidance at the time and will be subject to change.

Cancellation Policy


Cancellations must be submitted in writing to training@mfoa.on.ca.
  • Cancellations received prior to 4:00 pm ET on Friday, July 31, 2026, will receive a refund of the exhibit fee less a non-refundable amount of $1,000 + HST.
  • Cancellations received after this time forfeit the full booth fee.
  • Additional staff badges and gala tickets are non-refundable.
  • Breakfast tickets for Wednesday, September 23 are non-refundable.
