Asset management is a municipal best practice. Municipalities deliver many of the services that are critical to Ontarians and these services rely on well-planned, well-built and well-maintained infrastructure. Resolving municipal infrastructure challenges begins with improved asset management.

MFOA believes that asset management is a best practice for a municipality's long-term fiscal sustainability while understanding that each municipality faces unique circumstances when managing their assets. MFOA has designed tools, tip-sheets and webinars to assist members with improving their own asset management plans and procedures.
