  • Lifecycle activities options and risk analysis

Part I will cover facilities, vehicles and equipment
Part II will cover recreation, improvements to land, and natural assets

John Tarantino, Vice President, Marmak
John Tarantino is Vice President of Marmak. In 1983 John graduated from DeVry Institute of Technology and on June 27th 2002, was sworn in as an Ontario Land Surveyor, Ontario Land Information Professional. John is the driving force in the establishment of “The Ontario Municipal Partnership” which comprises of Ontario municipalities who collaborate in the development of Asset Management Solutions.

Over 30 years experience Managing Facilities and Assets in both the Municipal and Private Sector. 23 of those years working for the City of Gloucester and Ottawa; 12 years as Director, Facilities and Assets at the RA Centre in Ottawa, and now with the Town of Carleton Place. These include a Portfolio of Facilities and their Assets as well as major stand alone multi-use recreation facilities.  Learned the importance of Lifecycle and Asset Management from my Director, with the City of Gloucester, and continue with that mindset 30 years later.
