Transfers from senior levels of government has always represented a significant transaction for municipalities. Covid-19 created massive deficits across Canada’s municipalities. Balancing budgets will remain a theme for several years. Perhaps more importantly, it is important to understand strategies and tactics available to municipalities to address budget deficits.

This webinar is designed for finance officers, treasurers and managers with budgeting and accounting responsibilities that need to brief up to council.

You Will Learn:
  • Deep technical understanding of PSAB Government Transfers Standard, PS 3410
