Labour Relations Act, 1995: Municipalities and other entities are included in the definition of non-construction employers. The new by-law allows municipalities to bypass several provisions, including: The Provincial Policy Statement, 2014; The Growth Plan for the Greater Golden Horseshoe, 2017; Conformity with official plans;  Height and density bonusing by-laws; Exemptions to the Clean Water Act; Consistency with any transportation planning policy statement made under subsection 31.1(4) of the Metrolinx Act, 2006; and more.
